Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Group Lead ICT & Connectivity.
  • The primary goal of this role is to provide hands-on experience in information technology infrastructure and strategy, particularly in infrastructure, cloud, network, and electronic information security.

Main Responsibilities

  • Reporting on usage and behavior of infrastructure for all regions.
  • Monitoring functional infrastructure usage across all regions.
  • Ensuring user and third-party service provider satisfaction.
  • Maintaining data integrity of systems.
  • Auditing user access and rights across various applications and systems.
  • Performing and verifying backups regularly.
  • Ensuring 99.9% uptime for voice, network, internet, and infrastructure security.
  • Deploying, installing, configuring, updating, and backing up all IT network equipment as per guidelines.
  • Formulating and implementing IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the overall IT strategy.
  • Planning and deploying information technology systems, cloud, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Researching, reviewing, analyzing, recommending, and implementing enterprise information standards, architectures, and governance processes.
  • Initiating and overseeing the deployment of new information technology architecture.
  • Deploying LAN / WAN / SAN and internet-related equipment and projects.
  • Physically installing IT equipment in data centers and technical rooms.
  • Configuring, updating, and backing up servers, LAN / WAN / SAN, and internet equipment.
  • Configuring phones, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Monitoring and ensuring availability of all LAN / WAN / SAN.
  • Upgrading network equipment with the latest stable firmware releases.

Qualifications

  • Minimum academic qualification: B.Sc in Computer Science or any ICT related degree.
  • 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the healthcare sector, with at least 5 years at a similar position.
  • Membership of Microsoft Certified Information Technology, ITIL Certified, and any related certifications relevant to this role.
  • Superior knowledge of ICT.
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, especially spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and people management skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Superior organizational leadership skills.
  • Business acumen.
