Job Description
- Develop and execute a cohesive and impactful brand strategy that aligns with the organization's values, mission, and goals.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and communication channels.
- Lead the development and implementation of effective corporate communication strategies to enhance internal and external communication.
- Manage crisis communication and develop protocols for handling sensitive issues.
- Oversee the creation and evolution of the organization's brand identity, including logos, visual elements, and messaging.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure the brand is reflected consistently in all materials.
- Develop engaging and compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
- Manage content creation across various platforms, including digital and traditional media.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Act as a spokesperson for the organization when necessary.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and stakeholder perceptions.
- Use data-driven insights to refine and optimize branding and communication strategies.
- Lead and inspire a team of branding and communication professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Develop and manage the budget for branding and communication initiatives.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources while achieving strategic objectives.
Educational Qualifications
- First Degree in any relevant technical discipline.
- Professional membership or certification in NSE and/or COREN or equivalent international certification
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Nigeria Electricity Distribution Chain/ or similar establishment, with a minimum of 6 years in supervisory roles.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in a similar role including in managing major metering projects, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Energy accounting with 5 years been spent at a supervisory level.
