Job Description
- The Head of Events at Windsor Gallery will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, including exhibitions, openings, private viewings, and other gallery-related functions.
- This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure all events are executed flawlessly.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage event concepts, themes, and timelines.
- Coordinate with artists, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure event success.
- Oversee event budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and within budget.
- Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and staffing.
- Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and partnerships.
- Evaluate event outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, patrons, and media.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably within the art industry.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
