Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled ICT Officer to join our team at our newly established nursing school.
- The ICT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the school's information and communication technology systems to support academic and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, networks, and computers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ICT-related issues to faculty, staff, and students.
- Implement security measures to safeguard the school's ICT infrastructure and data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of ICT policies and procedures.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
- Responsible for monitoring the performance of these systems, identifying and addressing any issues that arise, and implementing upgrades as needed.
- Responsible for training staff and students on how to use gadgets provided optimally and in cost effective manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience 2-5years as an ICT Officer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, systems administration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Knowledge of network security and data management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
