Role Summary
- The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, provide technical support, and implement IT policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain, and upgrade computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain data backup and recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Manage and configure network devices, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Provide technical support across the hospital.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Diagnose, repair faults, and resolve network issues.
- Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, andIT security practices.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, firewalls, and malware protection.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., scripting languages like Python) for automation and SQL for Database management.
