The Kids’ Court School, established in 2009, is a family-oriented school that brings first-class international education to Nursery and Primary School children in Lagos, Nigeria.

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified ICT Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will play a pivotal role in igniting a passion for technology in our students and preparing them for the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons aligned with the Nigerian and British Curriculum, promoting responsible digital citizenship.
  • Integrate technology seamlessly across various subject areas to enhance the learning experience.
  • Equip students with essential skills in coding, programming, data analysis, and digital creativity tools.
  • Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills through technology-based projects.
  • Offer guidance on cyber safety and responsible online behavior.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ICT equipment in the classroom.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and curriculum developments in ICT.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and engaging ICT curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different subject areas to leverage technology for cross-curricular learning.

Qualification:

  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Nigerian Certificate in Education - NCE or Bachelor of Education - B.Ed) specialising in ICT or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience teaching ICT in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of current ICT trends, software applications, and hardware.
  • Ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of technology.
  • Commitment to promoting responsible digital citizenship and online safety.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and integrate technology across various subject areas.
