Job Description:
- As the IT and Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's data, systems, and networks while optimizing technology resources for productivity and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- IT Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT and cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Provide leadership and vision for the IT department.
- Cybersecurity: Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, including intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, and incident response protocols. Protect sensitive data and intellectual property from cyber threats.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, including system administrators, network engineers, and cybersecurity specialists. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing technology investments and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and data protection laws. Monitor changes in cybersecurity threats and regulations, adapting policies and procedures accordingly.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to maintain technology partnerships and evaluate third-party solutions.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures or cyberattacks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) is a plus.
- Proven experience in IT management, including cybersecurity leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, and incident response.
- Strong technical skills in network administration, infrastructure management, and cloud computing.
- Experience with IT budget management and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
