About the Job

  • We are seeking a skilled IT Support Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • This role requires attention to details and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to users including troubleshooting and resolving IT related problems.
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection and access controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand IT needs and requirements.
  • Troubles shoot hardware and software issues including desktops, laptops, printer, and servers.
  • Conduct routine system updates and patches.
  • Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and other relevant metrics.
  • Test backup and recovery processes regularly to ensure they function correctly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in IT (Helpdesk and Support).
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative teamwork.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
