Role Overview

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic IT Auditor, who will be responsible for the execution and reporting across all of the IT audits. This will include:

  • Assessing the effectiveness of controls, identifying and analysing risks, and providing recommendations for improvements
  • Plan and execute IT audits including identifying and analysing risks, evaluating the effectiveness of controls and developing recommendations for improvements
  • Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
  • Analytical mind and expertise in IT systems, applications and infrastructure
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
  • Prepare audit reports, presenting findings to management, and providing recommendations for improvements
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to implement recommendations and improve processes
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, risks and trends in the IT audit field
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, attention to detail and an excellent understanding of cybersecurity trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of IT Audit experience, working in similar roles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance frameworks
  • Professional certification such as CISA, ISO 27001 is an added advantage
  • Strong experience auditing Azure/AWS Cloud Services
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Databases
  • Proficiency in audit software tools and data analytics techniques
  • Great exposure across auditing methodologies and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience working in an Agile environment
