Job Description
Supporting the Team Lead in the following areas:
Initiation and Governance:
- Preparing Project Requirement Document
- Establishing Project Organization and Governance
- Preparing Project Charter
- Preparing Kick-Off Meeting slides for Steering Committee
- Preparing Kick-Off Meeting slides for Project Team
Assessment:
- Establishing Assessment Criteria
- Preparing Assessment Tool
- Establishing Assessment Schedule
- Conducting Assessment
- Analyzing assessment outcomes
- Preparing Assessment and Gap Analysis Report including recommendations
- Presenting Assessment and Gap Analysis Report
Planning:
- Establishing a project plan based on the outcome from assessment and previous implementation approaches.
Executing:
- Coordinate the work for each remediation action until completion
- Coordinate the work for each project objective until completion
- Gather data required to support the work required for each phase of the assignment
- Coordinate all workshops required to address remediation actions and project objectives
- Prepare draft deliverables including documentation
- Review the work of all the team members
Closing:
- Validate that all remediation actions and project objectives have been completed and closed
- Prepare Project Closeout report
- Obtain Project Completion Form from client
- Obtain Client testimonial
Meetings and Governance (Monitoring and Controlling):
- Supervising, coordinating and reviewing the work of team members
- Prepare Progress Report for Project Team
- Prepare Progress Report for Steering Committee
- Present Progress Report to Project Team
- Establish and regularly update RAID-C Log
- Obtain Client testimonial
- Maintain relationship with Clients
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or HND from a reputable tertiary institution
- Minimum 1 - 2 years work experience
- Understanding of best practice frameworks including service management (ITIL); business continuity management (ISO 22301; Procept’s BCM Lifecycle; BCI and DRI); information security management (ISO 27001); business analysis (IIBA); project management (PMI, PRINCE2 and/or Agile); business relationship management (BRM Institute); IT Governance (COBIT, CISA, CISM, CGEIT); enterprise architecture (TOGAF) and ISO standards
- Proficient in the use of tools such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are vital, with strong emphasis on presentation skills and report writing.
- Organizational, analytical, problem solving and time management skill.
- Must be able to work long hours and weekends to meet deadlines (clients and non-clients) in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Must be discrete and highly confidential
- Must be flexible enough to have alternating and extended work hours including ability to work virtually.
