Job summary:
Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, routers, switches, internet and ensure users get maximum benefits from them.
Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including cisco switches.
- Routine maintenance on all systems (internet and telephony) on a regularly scheduled basis
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing network monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Daily Reporting network status to Head IT
Requirements:
- BSc/HND in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience, preferrably in a manufacturing set up.
- Knowledge of systems support, computer networking, cisco switches, troubleshooting.
- CCNA certification would be an added advantage
- Proficiency in network administration
