Job Summary:

The IT Executive will manage and oversee all aspects of the company\'s IT infrastructure, ensuring that data, networks, hardware, and software systems run smoothly. The role involves monitoring and troubleshooting systems, providing technical support, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and security. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Oversee data storage, backups, and retrieval systems to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Implement data security measures to safeguard against data breaches and cyber threats.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize database systems for performance and scalability.

Network Management:

  • Oversee and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure network security through firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure VPNs.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for network support and maintenance.

Hardware Management:

  • Manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of hardware equipment (servers, computers, networking devices, etc.).
  • Ensure that hardware is up-to-date, functioning optimally, and replaced when necessary.
  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Software Management:

  • Ensure that all software applications used by the organization are up-to-date, licensed, and secure.
  • Manage software installations, updates, patches, and licensing compliance.
  • Collaborate with vendors for software-related issues and upgrades.
  • Support end-users in troubleshooting software issues and provide training when necessary.

Technical Support:

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support for staff across all departments.
  • Address technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Document and maintain troubleshooting guides and knowledge bases for internal use.

Project Management:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of new IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and technology rollouts.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for IT-related projects.

Security and Compliance:

  • Monitor security systems and data to ensure the company’s IT infrastructure is secure.
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard sensitive company data.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in cybersecurity, applying relevant measures to protect the organization.

Vendor Management:

  • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network services.
  • Ensure the timely resolution of issues raised with external partners and suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT management, including network, hardware, and software.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, data management, and network architecture.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Certifications like CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Cisco, Microsoft, or other industry-standard certifications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, virtualization, or automation tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) frameworks.
