- The IT Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical problem-solving skills, extensive knowledge of computer networking, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and software applications.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient data communication across departments.
- Implement and oversee security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent cybersecurity threats.
- Conduct routine system checks, software updates, and hardware maintenance to ensure system stability and integrity.
- Provide technical support to staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT administration, computer networking, and technical support.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, IT infrastructure management, and systems optimization.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are highly desirable.
