Role Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Technology Sales Executive to join our team in Lagos State, Nigeria.
- This role is a full-time position with a hybrid of remote work and in-office work at our Lagos office. The successful candidate will carry out day-to-day sales activities, including but not limited to managing and growing key accounts, meeting sales targets, chasing leads, and creating outreach strategies to build lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and develop relationships with new clients, focusing on understanding their IT needs and challenges.
- Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to reach targets, including lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
- Product Knowledge: Understand the company’s IT products and services, including software, hardware, and consulting services, to effectively demonstrate and pitch to potential clients.
- Solution Selling: Assess client needs and offer customized IT solutions that align with their business goals, creating value propositions.
- Negotiations and Closing: Conduct negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service terms, aiming to close deals that meet sales targets.
- Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction, handling renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product releases to identify new sales opportunities.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and documentation to management on sales performance and client feedback.
Required Skills
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex IT products and concepts clearly to clients.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT products and services, including cloud solutions, software, and hardware.
- Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating terms and conditions to achieve profitable sales deals.
- Sales and Marketing: Knowledge of sales techniques, including consultative selling and relationship-building.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand client pain points and provide tailored IT solutions.
- Customer Service: Strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Information Technology sales, preferably with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
- Up to date with the latest tech trends, particularly those impacting clients’ industries.
- Upsell and cross-sell success rate.
