- As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless business operations by providing first-level troubleshooting, user support, and system maintenance.
- Your contribution will help optimize IT systems, enhance user experience, and support business applications.
You’ll Contribute to:
- Providing first-level and second-level IT support for business applications and IT systems.
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to software, hardware, and applications.
- Monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and escalating as needed.
- Managing user access and system configurations to ensure smooth operations.
- Running basic SQL queries for troubleshooting and data retrieval.
- Executing Linux commands for system checks and maintenance.
- Documenting recurring IT issues and contributing to the IT knowledge base.
- Supporting IT training initiatives to enhance user proficiency.
- Assisting in IT system updates, patches, and performance improvements.
- Identifying business requirements and aligning system functionalities with business needs.
Skills & Competencies

Technical Competencies
- Basic troubleshooting of IT applications and business systems.

Minimum Requirement
- This opportunity is a Middle Level Management role.
- You will be responsible for optimizing IT systems, enhance user experience, and support business applications.
- This role directly reports to the Subject Matter Expert – Business Support System and Operation Support System (SME – BSS & OSS). Successfully applicants will typically possess the following criteria:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/ HND in in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of scripting (Linux shell, SQL) and database management.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management principles.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT support, business systems, or related roles
