Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to oversee our IT infrastructure, manage technical support, and ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT processes and be able to troubleshoot both hardware and software issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Ensure the security of IT systems, including implementing and maintaining firewalls and antivirus software.
- Manage software updates, patches, and system backups.
- Monitor and maintain network systems, including servers, routers, and switches.
- Manage data recovery and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with other departments to assess and fulfill IT needs.
- Assist with IT budgeting, including procurement of hardware and software.
- Document IT procedures and maintain IT inventory.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and security protocols.
- Familiarity with a range of operating systems and IT tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
