About the Role:
Emile Creer Innovations Limited is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Lagos. This role combines strong computer/IT expertise with patient care coordination duties, making it ideal for someone who is both technically proficient and patient-focused. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Lagos as this is a full-time, office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for office operations, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems and ensure accurate data entry and retrieval.
- Train and support staff on computer systems, applications, and patient management tools.
- Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling, communication, and follow-up.
- Maintain secure handling of patient data in compliance with data protection policies.
- Support the integration of technology into clinical and administrative processes.
- Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and digital tracking tools
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma/Associate Degree (ND/HND or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, Health Information Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Officer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, health information systems, and basic networking.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage patient interactions professionally and compassionately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related discipline.
- Prior experience in healthcare administration or patient care coordination.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems.
