Description
The person should be able but not be limited to:
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults, and replace parts as required.
- Provide hardware and software support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
- Rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
- Configure Library automation software and Document Management solutions.
Job Requirements
- Should have an OND / HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Library Information Technology, and other related fields.
- Should understand Computer systems and networking with hand on experience
- Should have at least 3 years experience with IT related solutions
- A practical understanding of Library Automation and Document Management Solution will be an added advantage.
- Should be a male.
- Should live around Yaba axis and environs.
