About the Role
- We are looking for a versatile and tech-savvy professional to handle both IT support functions and social media management to strengthen our showroom operations and online presence.
Role Overview
- The IT Support & Social Media Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth technology operations within the showroom while also managing the brand’s online presence.
- This dual role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and creativity in digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
IT Support:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues within the showroom.
- Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, printers, internet connectivity, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure data security, backups, and proper system updates.
- Liaise with external vendors for technical issues beyond in-house expertise.
- Train showroom staff on basic IT tools, software, and troubleshooting.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and manage the showroom’s social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
- Create engaging content to promote Thermocool products, offers, and campaigns.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and comments on social platforms.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive showroom foot traffic and sales.
- Track and analyze social media performance and provide reports with improvement recommendations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align social media promotions with showroom activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field (OND/HND acceptable with experience).
- Proven experience in IT support/technical support.
- Hands-on experience with hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Creative skills in graphics or video editing (Canva, Photoshop, etc. is an added advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and balance technical and creative tasks effectively.
- Customer service-oriented with a proactive mindset.
