Job Description:
As an IT Support Staff at Kursi Investments Limited, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our computer systems, networks, and software. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems, providing technical assistance to users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests, providing technical support in person or over the phone.
- Set up accounts for new users and provide training on new computer systems.
- Repair and replace equipment as necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Test new technology and assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting computer or network issues.
- Assist in maintaining security systems and installing updates to safeguard company data.
- Support employees across multiple internal software systems, providing technical assistance and resolving errors.
- Assist in preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports, and provide training on new computer systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a computer technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in computer operating systems, such as MS Windows, MAC OS, and Linux.
- Exceptional working knowledge of computer systems, including networks, servers, and system maintenance.
- Good understanding of computer equipment, including laptops, servers, printers, and routers.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stay up to date with the latest advancements in hardware and software.
- Action-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
