Ikoyi Nursery School is a thriving nursery school in the heart of Ikoyi, Lagos, championing the dynamics of a personalised and stimulating curriculum. We are a private school with a capacity for 39 children between the ages of 2½ and 5½ years. Our vibrant school community includes children from both local and international communities, representing more than 10 nationalities. Founded in 1946, Ikoyi Nursery School (INS) operates as a not-for-profit Trust and is overseen by a committee of parents. Our approach is centered around a combination of guided learning, challenges and collaborative study. Job Summary

  • We are seeking a unique individual who possesses both IT and teaching expertise to join our team. 
  • The successful candidate will provide technical support and maintenance of our computer systems,will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. as well as teach students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities
IT Support:

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software
  • Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and guides
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to resolve complex technical issues
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and students on IT-related matters.
  • Manage and update the school website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Handle and maintain the school's Tapestry system.
  • Create engaging graduation slides.
  • Manage and maintain the school's social media presence.
  • Design and create eye-catching event flyers for school events.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the school administration.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess student learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school programs.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
