Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Brand Manager to join our team at LagosCityInfo.
  • The Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image, increasing visibility, revenue and driving engagement with our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for business development, vibrant lifestyle and a deep understanding of Lagos culture and lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and run the Proft&Loss with full accountability in bottom- and top-line results and reporting. (Full P&L responsibility means you will be responsible for driving revenue and managing all expenses including sales, marketing, and customer service and product development)
  • Manage every communication element of advertising and marketing including creative, copy, layouts, and production.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to increase revenue and visibility.
  • Manage all aspects of the brand's presence across digital and traditional marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, offline promotions, and increase conversions on the website.
  • Manage offline and online client relationship, customer acquisition and retention programs including SEO, email, affiliate, graphics, and social media marketing.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, loss of business to competitors, etc.).
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of branding and marketing efforts.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Represent LagosCityInfo at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Additional duties as assigned or deemed necessary for effective business operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in brand management, marketing, Account management or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and tools, including social media management and analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
  • Knowledge of the Lagos market, nightlife, content creation, and entertainment industry
  • Living on the Island with a good phone and video editing skills is a plus.
