The Job holder will be responsible for the management of ICT department, including (but not limited to) planning, quality assurance, personnel management, and support of academic programs and coordinating the team. The goal of this job role is to ensure that the technology used by the organization runs smoothly and effectively.
Key Result Areas (KRA)
The Key result areas of this role are:
- Monitoring and maintaining network, servers, and database
- Administering firewall, router, and switches
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential
- Management LAN and WAN infrastructure, including telephony VOIP transport, QoS, and VPN
Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement ICT strategies to support branch objectives.
- Participate in and complete new ICT projects.
- Manage user accounts and perform access control.
- Supervise and mentor IT department employees; provide IT support.
- Document processes and manage data backups and archiving.
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost control and value for money.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies like Cloud and SD-WAN.
- Manage LAN and WAN infrastructure, including telephony VOIP, QoS, and VPN.
- Follow standard operating procedures for new changes.
- Ensure adequate ICT resources to meet demand.
- Develop and maintain a network for effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain the Company’s core network infrastructure, business systems, and communication equipment.
- Develop a hardware maintenance plan and report on ICT equipment lifespan.
Data Management:
- Develop tools for data collection, storage, management, security, and distribution to support decision-making.
Security Management:
- Protect ICT infrastructure and corporate data against cyber threats.
- Implement stringent security policies to minimize security breaches.
General Support:
- Provide user support and training for new software and network facilities.
- Offer helpdesk services or one-on-one support.
- Develop and maintain ICT services focused on hospital needs and customer satisfaction.
- Perform tasks assigned by senior leadership.
