MTN Nigeria is part of the MTN Group, Africa\'s leading cellular telecommunications company. On May 16, 2001, MTN became the first GSM network to make a call following the globally lauded Nigerian GSM auction conducted by the Nigerian Communications Commission earlier in the year. Mission:
- To provide network analytics and insights to Network Group functions and other Business functions for informed decision making.
- Safeguard the network and customers from adverse effects occasioned by network changes through service UATs.
Description:
- Support Network and Business functions with analytics for informed decision making.
- Develop, prepare, review and analyze financial performance indicators for Network division Capex and Opex.
- Assist the Chief Technical Officer with the identification, conceptualization and championing of activities, projects and or assignments aimed at optimizing performance within the division.
- Initiate, develop and champion execution of innovative solutions to address operational shortfalls
- Co-ordinate industry research and evaluate business intelligence information to serve as input to Network division’s strategy development and plans
- Develop, prepare, review and analyze operational performance indicators to identify areas in which synergies can be achieved for quality improvement cost efficiencies.
- Assist with the creation and documentation of assigned plans on behalf of the Chief Technical Officer/Network division.
- Provide analytical, documentation and project management support on projects/assignments as agreed with the Chief Technical Officer.
- Liaise with line managers to ensure implementation of approved projects
- Develop, manage and maintain library of the Chief Technical Officer’s presentations to various constituencies engaging with MTNN Network division – Educational, industrial, community, international, governmental and MTN Group Operations.
Education:
- First degree in any related discipline
- Fluent in English
- Possession of an MBA or Project Management certification will be an advantage
Experience:
3-7 years’ experience which includes:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising/managing others
- Experience working in a medium to large organization.
- Experience in Business Development/Financial Management is desirable
- Proven experience in managing complex projects
- Experience in Network Planning and Operations
