Alaro City, is a mixed-income, city-scale development with areas for offices, logistics and warehousing, homes, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, entertainment and 150 hectares of parks and open spaces.
Responsibilities include:
Marketing and Communications
- Execute the Marketing & Communications strategy to budget for Rendeavour projects in Nigeria
- Implement marketing campaigns and other initiatives that support the sales process for Rendeavour projects in Nigeria.
- Support sales team in revenue generation by providing information, communication materials, creatives, data, etc. that will drive better/higher conversions
- Drive revenue growth through product communications and customer engagement.
- Develop data driven process to test effectiveness of brand initiatives such as AB tests.
- Develop and implement integrated ABM marketing campaigns that align with the company's industrial marketing strategy and business objectives.
- Conceive, produce and manage advertising and marketing materials creation: supervise and guide appointed vendors on the brand vision and graphic design elements to be incorporated into the brand and marketing materials.
- Manage and produce content for owned, shared and paid digital media spaces/platforms (Websites and social media) and oversee the drafting and implementation of digital media plans.
- Create awareness of the business through thought leadership programs, such as the placement of opinion pieces.
- Communicate key strategic and product development mile stones and messages across all media.
- Provide analysis of existing PR environment and brand perception with target audiences, identify key risks to the brand from the PR and marketing perspective and prepare and manage crisis communications where appropriate.
- Organise product launches, ATL & BTL campaigns and other events that attract buyers to the project sites.
- Produce and distribute monthly newsletters to relevant internal/external stakeholders and sales and marketing databases.
- Proactively manage marketing and PR consultants where applicable.
- Identify relevant stakeholders and build awareness of, trust and loyalty to the brand. Liaise with, engage and manage stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a database of relevant stakeholders to the project for marketing purposes.
- Promote the business' spokespersons through target commentary and interviews in relevant business and trade media.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key media in Nigeria (TV, print, online), coordinate and manage media engagements to promote the project and actively hunt and develop media features and stories about project milestones.
- Ensure all marketing and communications activities run cost efficiently to budget and align with the wider objectives of Rendeavour, while tracking return on investments to targets.
- Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and analyse impact on both the company and the beneficiaries every quarter.
- Support sales targets by preparing the annual Marketing, PR and CSR budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; and initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Support the development and dissemination of brand & culture initiatives via internal communications.
- Weekly marketing reporting and activity impact assessment.
- Prepare marketing related presentations to senior management and potential clients as needed.
- Manage printed advertising and marketing materials creation: supervise and guide appointed vendors on the brand vision and graphic design elements to be incorporated into the marketing materials.
- Build awareness through thought-out, phased communications and marketing planning including budgeting and analysis of share of voice.
- In conjunction with Human Resources, execute an internal communications strategy.
- In conjunction with Human Resources, execute Employer of Choice initiatives to attract high quality candidates to Rendeavour.
Sales and Business Development
- Conceive, implement and support sales and business development strategies aimed at direct revenue generation.
- Generate leads.
- Manage and execute sales transactions.
- Design and execute innovative sales drives and shape products to appeal to the market and perform ahead of the competition.
- Ensure use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Sales Force) by all team members by tracking the quality and quantity of data input; and
- Analyse, interpret and report data from the CRM to assist the lead generation drive Regularly analyse competitor offerings and trends.
- Maintaining good knowledge of the property market the local and international level and be able to provide clients with the information they need to make decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with agents and brokers to assist in the sales process.
REQUIREMENTS
Hard skills and experience:
- Seven to 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, corporate communications, media relations, advertising and event management in a reputable company.
- Excellent written and oral communication, producing copywriter-or professional journalist-level text.
- Proven leadership and managerial experience.
- Strong strategic thinking with a track record of building and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong ability in: planning, branding, design and digital.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of multi-channel marketing/communication processes and the local Nigerian media.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Previous exposure to emerging or frontier markets.
- Experience with ABM strategies and tools, and a proven ability to drive results through targeted marketing efforts.
- International product and brand communications experience highly desirable.
