SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE
- The Marketing and Social Media Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team's efforts to promote the company's products or services and engage with the target audience through various digital and social media channels.
- This role combines marketing and social media expertise to enhance brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and support marketing campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media content strategies to enhance the brand's online presence. Create and curate engaging and shareable content for various social media platforms. Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and engage with the online community. Track and report social media performance using analytics tools. Grow social Media followers on TT and IG
- Content Creation: Generate high-quality written and visual content for social media, website, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce compelling visuals, infographics, and videos. Maintain a content calendar and schedule posts for optimal engagement.
- Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital channels. Create and manage paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms, including budget management. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaign consistency and alignment.
- Audience Engagement: Foster active and meaningful engagement with the target audience through comments, discussions, and content sharing. Respond to inquiries and customer feedback in a timely and professional manner. Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to extend reach.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor online conversations and industry trends, staying informed about emerging social media and marketing trends. Prepare regular reports on social media and campaign performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement. Utilize analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and enhance brand identity and messaging consistency across all digital and social media platforms. Ensure that all content adheres to company and brand guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or any related field.
- Must have completed NYSC
- 3+ years of proven experience in social media management, growth and content creation.
- Familiarity with social media trends, analytics and advertising platforms.
- Proficiency in content creation tools, graphic design software, and content management systems.
- Must have organic followers of at least 3000 on social media especially on TT and IG
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have photo editing skills
- Excellent understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions, established routines, and accepted practices.
- Must have excellent Internet connection, working laptop and ability to adjust work hours to Central Standard Time (Between 9 am - 5 pm Central Standard Time).
