Job Description
- As a Marketing Communications Business Partner within our Group Marketing Team, you play a pivotal role in driving the marketing efforts for our retail division.
- You will collaborate closely with the Group Marketing Team to align brand and marketing strategies, yet your primary focus will be tailoring campaigns and initiatives to suit the unique needs and objectives of the retail division.
- Reporting directly to the Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, you will ensure the conceptualization, development, and execution of the retail division’s holistic and tactical marketing plans as fits under the Masterbrand and group marketing agenda.
- You will be accountable for providing support for the division’s market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, customer acquisition and retention, and customer experience strategies.
- This role is for a strategic and creative thinker who can balance autonomy with teamwork in achieving marketing success.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Create targeted campaigns across various channels to promote products, services, and brand awareness.
- Uphold and enhance the company's brand identity across all communication channels.
- Align brand messaging and ensure consistency with brand manual.
- Support the group marketing team to improve and achieve set individual and organizational goals.
Requirements
- BA / B.Sc./HND in Advertising, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and Marketing or related field (2.2/Upper Credit Minimum)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within the telecommunications/technology sector or advertising agency.
- Experience working within a group marketing structure
- Ability to execute marketing strategies across ATL and BTL channels.
- Strong understanding of content marketing to support sales and customer experience.
- Experience developing marketing reports to showcase KPI achievements leveraging such tools as Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Data-driven mindset and an understanding of key marketing metrics in measuring success.
