Job Summary:
We are hiring a Media Sales Manager on behalf of our client in the Advertising Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing sales efforts across various media platforms, including digital, print, radio, TV, and emerging media. This role requires developing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through the sale of media products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Identify and target new business opportunities, manage existing client relationships, and lead the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs and offer tailored media solutions that align with their marketing goals.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the company’s media offerings, enter new markets, and strengthen client retention.
- Sales Presentations: Lead sales pitches and presentations to potential clients, effectively showcasing the company’s media products and their benefits.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to position the company’s products effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of media campaigns and excellent client experiences.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track sales performance, prepare forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management on revenue goals, pipeline status, and potential opportunities.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage sales budgets and resources efficiently to maximize results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in media sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of digital, broadcast, print, and outdoor media and advertising strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with a sales team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in managing a sales team and developing sales strategies.
- Understanding digital advertising, programmatic buying, and social media marketing.
- Existing relationships with key decision-makers in the media and advertising industry.
- Advanced data analysis skills, particularly in interpreting sales performance and client insights.
