Description
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration: Manage and Maintain the MES system, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Process Integration: Integrate MES with other systems, such as ERP, SCADA, and DCS to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Data Management: Ensure data integrity, accuracy and consistency within the MES system.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot MES-related issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve MES processes to optimize refinery operations.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the MEs system.
- Compliance: Ensure MES compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- MES systems: Experience with MES systems, such as SAP ME, Siemens MES, or similar.
- Refinery Operations: Understanding of refinery operations, processes, and workflows.
- IT Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
- Database Management: Experience with database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL server, or similar.
- Integration: Experience with integrating MES with other systems, such as ERP, SCADA, and DCS.
- Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fiels.
- Certifications: MES-related certifications, such as SAP ME or Siemens MES, are desirable.
- Industry Experience: Experience working in a refinery or similar industry is preferred.
