Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in core networking principles, network implementation, and support. A strong understanding of routing and switching protocols is essential, along with proficiency in managing fiber infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other networking devices.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and expansions.
- Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining appropriate measures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding network-related issues.
- Conduct regular audits of network systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certification in networking (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in network design, implementation, and support.
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Familiarity with fiber optic infrastructure and its configuration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
