Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Operations Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale networks. The ideal candidate will hold both CCIE and CCNP certifications and have a strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and network security. The Network Operations Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and maintain network architecture
  • Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewall, etc)
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, operations) to ensure network alignment with business objectives
  • Develop and implement network monitoring and reporting tools
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and trends
  • V-LAN in-depth knowledge
  • Familiar with OTDR, OFC trouble shooting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BE) in computer science, Information Technology or any related field
  • CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification
  • CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in network operations
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Experience with network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
  • Experience in network design, implementation, and capacity planning
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet devices and updates. • Proficient in maintaining network configurations and documentation

  • Network Uptime: Maintain 99.9% network availability with minimal downtime.
  • Incident Response Time
  • Ensure latency remains below defined thresholds for optimal performance.
  • Compliance with security protocols and audits.
  • Accuracy in network configuration changes and documentation.
  • Bandwidth Utilization
  • Incident Reduction
  • Increase automation of routine tasks by a defined percentage to improve efficiency.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelly
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Python)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with network management software (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
