We are looking for a diligent and organized Operations Assistant with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the efficiency of our business processes.
Job Description
- We are looking for a competent Public Relations (PR) Specialist to shape and protect our corporate image in ways that promote our business, values and mission.
- You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
Responsibilities
- Formulate PR plans, strategies and support the implementation of promotional plans.
- Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences while monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Write press releases, speeches and other PR copy.
- Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences.
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout). Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors and present solutions in times of PR crisis.
Requirements
- Proven experience as public relations specialist, social media manager or similar position
- Experience in copywriting and editing
- Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent skills in presentation and public speaking
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels.
