Position Summary
- As a Presenter at Pulse Nigeria, you will be the face and voice of our digital media content.
- You will be responsible for presenting live and pre-recorded shows, conducting interviews, and delivering content across various platforms, including online video, social media, and live events.
- Your role is to engage, inform, and entertain our audience, ensuring a high standard of presentation and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Content Presentation:
- Host and present live and pre-recorded shows, including news, entertainment, lifestyle, and special features.
- Conduct engaging interviews with guests, including celebrities, industry experts, and other newsmakers.
- Provide commentary and analysis on various topics relevant to the audience.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the content production team to develop and produce high-quality content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new shows, segments, and features.
Audience Engagement:
- Interact with the audience through social media platforms, responding to comments and questions in a professional manner.
- Engage with viewers during live shows, incorporating their feedback and comments into the content.
Research and Preparation:
- Conduct thorough research on topics, guests, and current events to provide accurate and insightful content.
- Prepare detailed notes and questions for interviews and discussions.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated with industry trends, current events, and best practices in digital media and broadcasting.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance presenting skills and technical knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years proven experience as a presenter, host, or similar role in the media industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms for content promotion and audience engagement.
- Strong research and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
- Strong on-camera presence and ability to engage with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle live broadcasts professionally.
