Job Summary:

  • We are currently looking to hire an experienced Research and Publications Manager in the Human Resources Consulting Industry with over 20 years in business, to lead our Research and Publications department. The Publications Manager will act as a source of expertise and advice on the production of written material within the Foundation – both within the Communications team and across the organization as a whole.
  • With a flair for clear and compelling writing, an exceptional eye for detail, and the ability to provide design support, the Research and Publications Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the production of a range of high-quality communications outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project managing the development and production of a wide range of company publications, blogs, and related materials from concept to delivery. This will include reports, briefings, quick guides, and long-form online content.
  • Play a leading role in implementing and supporting the adoption of the company’s publications hierarchy, ensuring the development of appropriate guidance and the maintenance of the hierarchy to meet the organization's publishing needs.
  • Working with our content teams, safeguarding the company’s reputation for the publication of high-quality and academically robust research reports, through the production of well-structured, clearly written, and quality-assured research reports.
  • Copywriting, editing, and proofreading for different communications materials, ensuring all materials are written in a compelling and accessible style.
  • Owning the company’s house style guidelines, ensuring they are championed throughout the organization as appropriate and are used to create products consistent with our brand identity and reflecting our corporate messages.
  • Ensuring the consistent and appropriate use of our visual identity and data visualization guidelines
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the company publications, ensuring that they are tailored to our key audiences.

Qualification/Skills required to fill this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
