Job Brief:
- Uridium Technologies is looking for a talented Senior Database Administrator to lead our database management efforts.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
- As a key member of our IT team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage database systems to meet organizational requirements.
- Perform regular database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Ensure the security and integrity of databases by implementing and maintaining access controls and encryption.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database performance in application environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including data corruption, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity problems.
- Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve database systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator, with at least [X] years in a senior role.
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems, including [specific technologies, e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server].
