Job Purpose
The purpose of a Senior Manager, Fiber Network Operations is to ensure the efficient, reliable, and scalable operation of the company's fibre network infrastructure.
This role is critical in achieving high-performance network services that meet the needs of the organization and its customers.

Key Roles:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for fiber network operations.
- Align network operations goals with the company’s overall objectives.
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the fiber network infrastructure.
- Ensure the network’s high availability, reliability, and performance.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Project Management
- Manage large-scale fiber network projects, from planning to execution.

Network Planning and Design
- Develop comprehensive plans for network expansion and upgrades.

- Identify potential risks to the network and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly.

Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or any other related discipline.
- Advanced degree in any of the above Engineering fields and/ or relevant professional certifications, e.g. Network Operation Management, Fiber Certifications will be an added advantage.
- 8+10 years’ relevant experience, including most recent 5 years in telecoms Fiber network operations and maintenance.
- Understanding of transmission networks (SDH/DWDM/OTN), IP/MPLS and other IP based network technologies and solutions will be an advantage.
- Demonstrable proficiency in MS Office tools including Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
