In order to concentrate on demands in the area of software solutions, system and training, the Expert Edge software was acquired in 1997. In 2005, CWG Plc was incorporated to co-ordinate and monitor the activities of the three subsidiaries. Prior this establishment, a branch in Ghana was set-up in 2003 to cater for the needs of the West African region. The Group Company was formed to provide Head Office functions and Shared Resources for the subsidiaries from a central point to make them leaner, efficient and more customer focused.

Job Description 

  • Plan and maintain network installation, circuit integration, network equipment maintenance, and operations.
  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Monitoring network performance to identify potential problems and help ensure high-performance levels.
  • Prepare monthly network availability report.
  • Maintaining the network infrastructure by troubleshooting problems with routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls, wireless access points, radius servers etc.
  • Create Bill of Material (BOM) for new, faulty and end-of-life (EOL) network devices.
  • Implement software upgrades or patches on network-related devices.
  • Maintaining records of network activity such as logs of user activity or system performance metrics
  • Facilitate Change Management requests and execution according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or Manual of Procedures (MOP)
  • Ensure network documentation are up to date

 Job Requirement

  • Cisco and Networking certifications; CCNA, CCNP & Fortinet NSE4.
  • Competencies, Skills and Knowledge Attitude of resources to provide this service.
  • Experience working with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, IPsec, DMVPN, GRE, HSRP, VRRP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
  • Proficient in leading networking technologies software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), Wi-Fi 6, and network automation.
  • Proficient in Unified Threat Management (UTM) Solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
