Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and network devices.
- Monitor system performance and network traffic, ensuring the stability, security, and integrity of data.
- Perform routine system and security audits, backups, and recoveries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server and network-related issues.
- Implement security measures and protocols to protect the bank’s network and data from unauthorized access.
- Manage firewall, VPN, and other security systems to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintain and update documentation related to server and network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades, network expansions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Administer network user permissions, file systems, and directories.
- Ensure system scalability to accommodate future business growth.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in server and network administration in a financial or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPN, and security measures.
- Proficiency with server operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
