- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior System Reliability Engineer to join our team and help ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our systems. As a Senior System Reliability
- Engineer, you will work on building and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant systems while focusing on continuous improvement and automation. You will play a key role in managing our cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance, and ensuring reliable system operations.
- This role requires a deep understanding of cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring systems, and strong experience with AWS. Familiarity with Kubernetes, databases, and Linux systems is essential, while knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure in AWS.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and optimize workloads for performance and reliability.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and systems, focusing on scalability and resilience.
- Deploy and maintain Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and automated software delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues across the stack, from Linux systems to databases and networking.
- Manage databases like MongoDB and MySQL (or similar) to ensure performance, scalability, and availability.
- Configure and maintain Ingress servers (e.g., Nginx) for load balancing, SSL termination, and routing.
- Contribute to improving operational processes, monitoring systems, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and reliable deployments.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in system reliability, infrastructure management, or related fields.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud computing services.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
- Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining Bitbucket CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working with Linux systems for server management and optimization.
- Expertise in MongoDB and MySQL (or similar databases) for database management.
- Experience configuring and managing Ingress servers like Nginx.
- Familiarity with AWS Cognito for user authentication and security.
Nice to have:
- Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus.
- Experience working with Google Workspace tools and integrations.
- Slack administration experience for managing team communication and integrations.
- Experience with alternatives to Google Workspace and Slack for team collaboration and productivity.
