  • We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SOC Manager to join our team. As a SOC Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Security Operations Centre, ensuring the security of our organization's digital assets and infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and SOC operations, along with proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of security analysts and engineers in the Security Operations Centre.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the SOC, including incident response, monitoring, and detection of security events.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the protection of the organization's assets.
  • Coordinate and lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, network operations, and risk management, to address security issues and implement security best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies, and implement appropriate security measures.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of SOC processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the overall security posture of the organization.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory compliance requirements and ensure adherence to applicable security standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SOC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
  • Experience in incident response management and handling complex security incidents.
  • Proficiency in security monitoring, threat intelligence, and security incident analysis.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of security professionals.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GCIH are highly desirable.
