Job Description
An online news media company in Anthony, Lagos State is offering a place of primary assignment to an NYSC member as a social media admin.
The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable and passionate about social media, trending news and content creation.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging content, including text, images and videos.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages and inquiries promptly.
- Analyse social media metrics and insights to optimise performance and drive results.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools and best practices in social media engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall editorial strategy.
Requirements
- Graduate of marketing, communications or related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design.
- Passion for news and trending stories.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Nigerian media landscape
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
- Proximity to Anthony Village is a plus
