The Role:
Overview: We seek a talented and passionate Creator Partnerships Manager to lead creator collaborations, manage campaigns, and build brand communities across our social media channels. The ideal candidate is a creative matchmaker, content strategist, and data whiz who thrives on building relationships and driving results.
- Creator & Community Strategy
- Drive The company’s creator strategy for UGC creators including scaling our creator community, processes & tech to drive creator selection, briefing, rewards, and engagement.
- Create UGC and Influencer strategies to drive key business KPIs, including growth in followership/awareness, engagement rates, sales, and brand love.
- Build UGC & influencer strategies to drive awareness and followership in new markets.
- Drive innovation to the company’s creator strategy through unique ideas – affiliate link programs, reward programs, etc.
- Monthly Creator Campaign Management & Optimization: Oversee the execution of influencer and UGC campaigns from start to finish. This includes:
- Content Strategy & Collaboration: Collaborate with the company’s Digital Team to develop engaging content campaigns featuring our creators. Provide creators with creative direction and brand guidelines while allowing their unique voice and style to shine through and drive sales for the company’s e-commerce site and retail partners.
- Creator Recruitment & Onboarding: Source and identify talented creators with strong brand alignment and audience engagement. Develop a streamlined onboarding process to ensure new creators understand the company’s brand values and messaging.
- Contract Management: Negotiate, schedule, and finalize contracts with creators. Ensure all creators receive, review, and return fully executed contracts on time. Maintain a clear record of all agreements.
- Campaign Scheduling: Collaborate with creators to develop realistic timelines and deadlines for content creation, approval, and publication. Utilize project management tools to track progress and ensure on-time delivery.
- Performance Tracking & Optimization: Track campaign performance, analyze data and adjust for continuous optimization.
Creator Relationships
- Manage a Diverse Creator Network: Develop and maintain relationships with content creators (influencers and UGC creators) across multiple regions, including Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and North America.
- Creator Growth & Development: Build strong relationships with creators. Provide ongoing support and feedback to help creators grow their platforms and effectively represent the company brand. Explore opportunities for creator education and workshops.
- Creator Events & Shoots: Manage creator events and support the brand team with video/photo shoots as required.
Stay Ahead of Trends:
- Be able to execute video shoots that drive brand messaging.
- Support the team on general community building and brand initiatives such as community events, launch events, pop-up filming, etc.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in influencer marketing and the creator landscape across multiple regions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 3 years in influencer marketing or social media management, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices, algorithms, and trends.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful creator partnerships across various platforms.
- Strong understanding of the influencer landscape in Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and North America.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for the skincare industry and brand awareness of the company (a plus).
- Fluency in English and potential fluency in additional languages spoken in focus countries (a plus).
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools and platforms to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for wellness, lifestyle, and/or beauty is preferable.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
