Job Description

  • Our client, a growing professional services firm in Lagos is looking to hire a Social Media Executive to strengthen their digital presence and support brand growth across key platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the brand’s goals.
  • Plan and schedule engaging content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling campaigns, including influencer partnerships and seasonal promotions.
  • Record product walkthroughs, feature demos, and behind-the-scenes videos to showcase our brand and team culture.
  • Monitor social channels, respond to comments/messages, and build a vibrant digital community.
  • Ensure all content reflects a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions) and share reports with actionable insights.
  • Stay on top of social trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms.
  • Assist with design work using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and other relevant tools.
  • Support wider marketing initiatives and contribute creative ideas for growing brand awareness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in social media management or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies and audience behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Confident on camera, with a natural flair for storytelling and engagement.
  • Creative, curious, and quick-thinking — able to ideate and adapt rapidly.
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Experience analyzing performance using tools like Meta Business Suite or Twitter Analytics.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong photography and video editing skills are highly desirable.
