Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase engagement with target audiences. This role involves creating content, managing social media campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying current with social media trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage them effectively.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns across various platforms.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos) for social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content is consistent with brand identity.
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely posting.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms.
  • Foster a positive community and engage with followers to build brand loyalty.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics using analytics tools.
  • Generate reports on campaign performance, engagement, and ROI.
  • Use data insights to refine strategies and improve results.

Advertising and Promotions:

  • Plan and manage paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Set budgets, target audiences, and optimize ads for maximum impact.
  • Monitor ad performance and adjust as necessary to achieve goals.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders for collaborative campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a strong, positive brand voice and online presence.
  • Manage social media crises and handle negative feedback professionally.

Innovation and Trends:

  • Stay current with social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Experiment with new features, platforms, and strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Attend industry events and training to continually enhance social media expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, typically in an office environment with potential for remote work.
