Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with the organization's marketing objectives and target audience. Identify key social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) suitable for the brand and industry.
- Must have good knowledge about Nigerian sports.
- Content Creation and Curation: Create original and engaging content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, for social media posts. Curate relevant content from other sources to share with the audience. Ensure all content is on-brand and aligns with the organization's voice and tone.
- Community Management: Engage with the social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally. Foster meaningful interactions and build relationships with followers and customers.
- Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach specific target demographics and achieve marketing goals. Monitor and optimize ad performance to maximize ROI.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports on campaign performance. Use data insights to refine strategies and improve overall social media effectiveness.
- Social Listening: Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback. Respond appropriately to customer feedback and address any potential issues or concerns.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.
- Social Media Calendar: Develop and maintain a social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting and relevant content themes.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, PR, and creative teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in using various social media platforms and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and tracking tools.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box for engaging content ideas.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple platforms and campaigns effectively.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage projects from ideation to execution.
