Job Description

  • We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to oversee our company's presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media trends, adept at creating engaging content, and experienced in developing strategies to grow our online presence and drive engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Create and curate compelling content for social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Manage and maintain the company's social media profiles and presence, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and recommend strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates, and use insights to optimize strategy and content.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Experiment with new strategies and tactics to continually improve social media performance and drive results.

Qualifications

  • OND/HND or BSc in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of design and photo/video editing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
