Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement effective social media strategies tailored to each property, aimed at increasing visibility and organic bookings. Collaborate closely with the Head of Digital to ensure alignment with overarching content pillars and marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Design basic visual assets using Canva and edit engaging video reels that showcase the unique features of our vacation properties. Your content should tell a story, highlight the experience of staying at our properties, and resonate with our target audience.
  • Community Engagement: Actively manage our social media profiles, engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and building a community of travel enthusiasts. Your efforts will foster a positive brand image and encourage direct bookings.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor social media performance using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of your strategies. Use insights to refine tactics, optimize content, and achieve better engagement and conversion rates.
  • Market Trends: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices in the travel and hospitality industry. Apply innovative ideas to keep our content fresh and appealing.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Increased Engagement: Achieving significant growth in engagement metrics, including likes, shares, comments, and direct messages, across all social media platforms.
  • Higher Booking Rates: Contributing to an increase in organic booking rates for each vacation property through strategic content and effective social media management.
  • Strong Online Community: Building and maintaining a vibrant online community that actively interacts with our brand and expresses interest in our vacation properties.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years of social media management experience, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or real estate sectors. A portfolio demonstrating your ability to design assets and edit video content is required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok), Canva, video editing software, and analytics tools. Strong understanding of social media trends and digital marketing strategies.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Exceptional creativity in content creation, with a keen eye for design and storytelling. Ability to produce compelling visuals and video content that captures the essence of luxury vacation experiences.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with an online audience and collaborate with team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple properties' social media accounts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
