Job Overview:

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and culturally aware Social Media Manager to join our team in the entertainment industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that engage audiences, promote content and talent, build brand awareness, and drive digital growth across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage creative social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create and schedule engaging content including text, image, video, and live content that reflects the brand’s voice and entertainment value
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PR, marketing, creative, production, talent) to support promotions, launches, premieres, events, and announcements
  • Monitor trends, pop culture, and platform updates to keep the brand relevant and reactive in real-time
  • Manage social media calendars and coordinate content approvals
  • Engage with audiences through community management, influencer collaborations, and fan engagement strategies
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics, campaign performance, audience growth, and engagement
  • Identify and build relationships with influencers, talent, and fan communities
  • Support social media coverage for live events, premieres, red carpets, and behind-the-scenes moments

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in entertainment (film, TV, music, live events, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends especially in entertainment
  • Strong copywriting skills and an eye for visual storytelling and design
  • Experience with video content, reels, stories, and social-first production
  • Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar
  • Passion for pop culture, entertainment, and audience engagement
  • Knowledge of paid social strategies and ad campaigns
  • Live social coverage and on-site event experience
  • Basic video editing or graphic design skills
