The Social Media Executive is responsible for planning, creating, managing, and publishing engaging digital content that reflects Ziba Beach Resort’s brand personality while driving visibility, engagement, and bookings. This role requires creativity, consistency, attention to detail, and strong alignment with the resort’s marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish content across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter) where applicable.
- Develop monthly content calendars aligned with promotions, packages, seasons, and brand campaigns.
- Capture and curate high-quality photos and videos on-site (guests, experiences, rooms, activities, events).
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and CTAs consistent with Ziba’s brand voice and tone.
- Respond promptly and professionally to comments, DMs, and enquiries, escalating booking-related messages when required.
- Collaborate with reservations and guest experience teams to ensure enquiries are followed up and converted.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt content formats accordingly.
- Track and report basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, enquiries).
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and guest privacy policies.
- Support influencer visits, content creators, and campaign shoots when required.
- Maintain content archives and organise media files properly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand, business, or hospitality property.
- Strong content creation skills (short-form video, reels, stories, carousels).
- Good eye for aesthetics, composition, and storytelling.
- Basic video editing and graphic design skills (Canva, CapCut, InShot, etc.).
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and insights.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-site events when required.
