Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to enhance brand presence and engagement with the Nigerian audience
Content Creation & Curation:
- Design and curate a localized social media content calendar for Facebook and Instagram, ensuring daily posts that resonate with the local audience.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyse and report on social media performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to align social media initiatives with broader campaigns, promotions, and brand messaging.
Trend Monitoring:
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep our strategies current and effective.
Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitors on social media, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities for strategic improvement.
Influencer & Collaboration Sourcing:
- Identify and engage local influencers and websites for potential collaborations to amplify our brand’s reach.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 1 year as a Social Media Officer or in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with social media advertising and analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet established deadlines with high attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
